Avoid the Facebook & Craigslist Used Pool Table Trap
Buying a private-party used pool table online seems tempting until you discover the hidden logistical nightmare. An authentic table weighs up to 800 pounds, requiring you to rent a box truck, gather three friends, and attempt dangerous disassembly without stripping rail bolts or dropping 200-pound slate slabs. Worse yet, sellers often fail to disclose warped frames, cracked slate bolt holes, or dead rubber cushions that cost hundreds to repair.
At South CA Pool Table Movers, we eliminate all risk. We source premium estate-sale and pre-owned tables from top American manufacturers like **Brunswick, Olhausen, Connelly, and Diamond**. Every table is meticulously inspected, structural frames squared, cushion bumpers tested, and hardware revitalized by master mechanics. When you compare our all-inclusive packages against third-party pool table moving rates, purchasing direct saves you both money and headaches.

Frequently Asked Questions on Purchasing Used Slate Tables
Where can I buy a used slate pool table with delivery in San Diego?
You can purchase certified refurbished 3-piece slate pool tables directly from South CA Pool Table Movers. Every table includes turnkey white-glove home delivery across all San Diego County communities, brand-new cloth in your choice of color, and precision Starrett machinist leveling in your room.
How do I know if a used pool table for sale is real slate or wood?
You can confirm real slate by looking beneath the cabinet between the crossbeams: slate appears as dark gray, cold-to-the-touch quarried stone fastened with heavy machine bolts. Faux tables use lightweight compressed sawdust (MDF, Slatron, or Permaslate) which sags and cannot be leveled.
What is included with your refurbished pool tables in San Diego?
Every certified pre-owned table includes full local delivery within San Diego County, installation by master mechanics, new Championship 21oz Teflon felt in 24 colors, hot beeswax seam welding, Starrett 0.005" calibration, four cue sticks, an Aramith ball set, and a triangle rack.
Can I inspect the tables or review current inventory?
Yes, call (619) 772-7036 to receive high-definition photos, room dimension measurements, and mechanical specs for our current inventory of Brunswick, Olhausen, and Connelly slate tables. We arrange convenient inspection appointments and direct home delivery.
